Equine Ultrasound

We can use ultrasound to investigate changes in soft tissue structures like tendons. We also use it regularly for reproductive scanning.

In horses with colic we will sometimes use ultrasound to evaluate the movement, position, and thickness of the guts. This can give us an idea of how the horse will respond to different treatments.
